Blog Assignment #3

When I looked around my room in search of something for this assignment, I came across my Roxy rashguard. I initially questioned buying it because I didn't know how often I would use it. But the brand is Roxy. When I see or hear this brand I always think of surfing, summer, bikini's, PacSun, and beachy. The reason why I think of those things is because the majority of people who wear Roxy gear or clothes are women and lots of times, surfers. Roxy is a women's line created by Quicksilver which is surf gear and clothing for guys.

For the most part, my view and others' views of this brand are similar in that we all think of surfing for the most part. My perception just differs in that I think I also view Roxy as a fashionable brand for clothing and gear and not just surfers, but I do think of surfers a lot when I see the brand. I know that this brand originated for female surfers so I am pretty sure thats why everyone thinks of surfing and girls when they see this brand.
